The skating season is two weeks in and the local figure skating club is welcoming new coaches.
Britnee Revell and Adam Johnson are offering their experience to the figure skaters here.
Revell used to skate in Kingston before getting her Level 1 National Coaching Certification.
"I wanted to get back into it," Revell said of figure skating. "I love it." This is Revell's first year coaching.
Johnson is in his second year of coaching.
"I coached and competed last year," Johnson said. "This year I'm focusing solely on coaching."
Johnson is originally from London, Ontario but recently moved to Kingston.
The skating season is only a few weeks in and Revell and Johnson are working on getting the kids used to the ice again.
"There are test days and competitions that we are working on getting the kids prepared for," said Revell.
"The kids are excited to be here," said Johnson. "Some haven't skated since March and those ones are really excited."
